Helenair over at Metacafe uploaded this video of the first preparation flight of a 1/5th scaled MIG-29 fighter-jet.

The team has seemingly created a sweet RC scaled MIG-29, costing between $5,000—$15,000 and the replica was fitted with two turbine engines, which were not tested at their full capacity.



$5,000 - $15,000 ?? I think I could get a new car with that money but hey, the RC model is so cool ! Even the landing phase is so smooth =)

This does not happen all the time, but EA has decided to provide FREE downloads to their original Command & Conquer Gold in ISO format !!! What are you still waiting for if you don't have a legal copy of it *cough*cough* ?

One good thing is I'm pretty sure that my notebook which is powered by a graphic card that I borrowed from museum will be able to run this game. Memories from good o' days ~~

I've been checking out this phone lately, Sony Ericsson K800, after I decided not to go for Nokia 6280 two months ago. It's hot on the shelves now just like when Nokia 6280 first came out.

Sony Ericsson K800, this phone is highly advertised with "I'm with Cyber Shot, please take me home !". Well, the phone is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel Cyber-shot™ camera with autofocus. Opps... did I forget to mention it comes with Xenon flash too? This is a nice phone with nice feature that I've been waiting since Nokia 6280, which has poor imaging quality. I've checked alot of sites with heaps of reviews, everything sounds so nice until I found out that SE K800 records video in QCIF (176 x 144 pixels) resolution only. Don't know what QCIF means ? Never mind, but you should know what 176 x 144 pixel means... You don't want to capture some moments that's funny/shocking/precious in just a tiny 176x144 video format, that sucks ! Why can't a good phone with all those nice feature be perfect ? I don't mind to wait longer or pay a little more if for better video recording quality. Just wondering if the engineers in SE have guns pointed at them in order to push this phone out to market...

Personally I don't really care whether the phone is "candybar", flip, slide, or even 360 degree turnable design. So the SE K800 is still acceptable to me but hey, 105 x 47 x 22 mm is a bit too "bricky" for me to fit in my pocket if I'm wearing a jeans (out of topic, although lately I don't put my phone in bottom's pockets because I heard it will affect that thing...) The phone is consider light weight despite the size of the phone.

I still can't make up my mind to own it or just wait for another phone. Overall, this is a great phone, just that I'm not happy with the video recording... geez... how much longer I need to wait for a perfect phone before I can put my Nokia 8210 up on eBay...

I do understand that many of you are aware that this is an expensive way to release tension... and it might only appear in your wildest dreams but I can tell you this method is very useful if you do it ocassionally...
